Brett Thatcher

Brett Thatcher is a 2nd generation owner of Thatcher Insurance. The Agency was started in 1962 by Brett’s Father, Harvey J. Thatcher. Brett graduated with honors from both Lincolnview High School and The Defiance College. Brett joined the Agency in May of 1980, after his college graduation with a Degree in Business Administration. Brett’s older brother, Audie Thatcher, worked with him in the Agency until his retirement in 2011. Brett is now the sole owner of the Agency.

Brett is active in the Optimist Club of Van Wert, twice serving as President. He is a member of the Van Wert Elks Lodge, Van Wert Moose Lodge, and the Van Wert Centurion Club. Brett and his wife Diana, currently have 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Crystal Adkins 

I joined Thatcher Insurance in 2015. I attended Van Wert High School and graduated in 2000. My husband and I have been married for 4 years and have been together for 21 years. We have one daughter who is our pride and joy. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like scrapbooking, bowling, and writing poetry. My passions are Garth Brooks and college football.

Shannon Spear

I started working at Thatcher Insurance in October 2018. I have been married for 15 years and have 3 children. I enjoy watching our children play sports and spending time together as a family.
